The short answer
Dream Wallpaper Installers covers a wide part of Miami-Dade County from our Hialeah base, from Miami Lakes and Doral to Miami Beach, North Miami and South Miami. We install, remove and repair wallpaper in houses, condos and businesses, with prep matched to each building.
Hialeah sits near the middle of Miami-Dade, which puts most of the county within a reasonable drive for our installers; the farthest communities we cover are roughly 22 miles out. That reach takes us from Miami Lakes and Medley just north and west of home base, east to Miami Beach and the barrier-island towns, and south toward South Miami and Sunset. Across that spread, the housing changes a lot: postwar block houses, split-levels, high-rise condos with salt air coming through the balcony doors, and newer townhome communities. Dream Wallpaper Installers adapts prep and material choices to each of them.
Neighborhoods and cities we reach
Closest to us are Hialeah Gardens, Miami Lakes, Medley, Miami Springs and Opa-locka, often same-week visits. A little farther, we regularly work in Doral, Sweetwater, Westchester, Tamiami, West Miami, Coral Terrace, Olympia Heights, Westwood Lakes, Glenvar Heights, South Miami and Sunset.
North and east, our route covers Miami Gardens, Golden Glades, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Ives Estates and Ojus, along with Westview, West Little River, Gladeview, Brownsville, Pinewood, Country Club and Fountainebleau. We also serve the city of Miami itself, plus Miami Beach, North Bay Village, Bay Harbor Islands, Surfside and Sunny Isles Beach.
Matching the work to the building
Inland single-family homes in places like Westchester, Miami Springs or Country Club are frequently concrete block with plaster or skim-coated interiors. These walls are solid but can carry hairline cracks and years of paint. We patch, sand and prime so the paper lies flat.
Coastal condos in Miami Beach, Surfside, Bay Harbor Islands and Sunny Isles Beach face salt air and strong sun through large windows. We lean toward washable, fade-resistant materials there and pay close attention to walls near sliding doors, where condensation can form when cold AC air meets humid outdoor air.
Commercial and mixed-use areas around Doral and Medley bring office suites, showrooms and warehouses with front offices. Those jobs usually call for heavier vinyl wallcovering and scheduling outside business hours.
- High-rise condos: elevator reservations, building work hours and protected hallways
- Older block homes: crack repair, skim coating and paper removal
- Newer townhomes: primer over builder paint and careful work on stairwell walls
- Businesses: durable commercial goods and phased schedules
Weather and scheduling in Miami-Dade
The county has no fully dry season. Summer and early fall bring heat, high humidity and afternoon thunderstorms, while November into April is drier. Since paste cures best in a steady indoor climate, we ask clients to keep the AC on during and after installation.
Hurricane season lasts from June 1 to November 30. If a storm threatens, we move the appointment rather than leave fresh work in a home that might lose power, and we check for window or roof leaks before papering an exterior wall after a storm.
Starting a project
Send photos of the room and the paper you are considering. We will arrange a visit to measure, inspect the walls and discuss options, then follow up with a written quote.
