The short answer
We install wallpaper throughout North Miami homes and condos, including bedrooms, bathrooms, dining rooms and ceilings. Each job includes measuring, wall repair and priming, careful pattern matching and full cleanup, planned around coastal humidity.
North Miami homes range from mid-century ranch houses on quiet residential streets to condo towers and garden apartments a short distance from the bay. Each comes with its own walls, its own quirks and its own humidity profile. Dream Wallpaper Installers comes in from Hialeah, about 9 miles to the west, to hang wallpaper across 33160, 33161, 33168 and 33181. Whether you want an entire bedroom covered in a soft stripe or a powder room wrapped in a bold botanical, we bring careful prep, accurate pattern matching and a respectful approach to your home, whether that is a house or a unit on the twentieth floor.
Two very different housing types
Single-family houses in North Miami are often older, built with concrete block and finished with plaster inside. These walls are solid, but they may have uneven surfaces, decades of paint and sometimes old wallpaper hiding beneath. Prep is more involved, but traditional patterns, damasks and stripes look at home here.
Condos and newer apartments typically have drywall walls and a uniform finish. Prep is often quicker, though the building itself adds logistics: elevator reservations, contractor registration and set work hours. Many condo owners choose modern geometrics, textured solids and large-scale florals.
Popular rooms for wallpaper here
Powder rooms lead our list in this area. They are small enough to make a bold choice affordable in roll count and seen by every guest. Bedrooms come next, often with a calm all-over pattern. Dining rooms and breakfast nooks welcome scenic and floral papers. Laundry rooms and kids' bathrooms get washable vinyl.
Ceilings are an often overlooked option. A papered ceiling can make a boxy condo bedroom feel finished, or turn a plain hallway into something memorable.

Choosing paper for a home near the water
North Miami's position near Biscayne Bay brings more moisture into homes whenever doors and windows open. Papers on non-woven backing are dimensionally stable and resist the swelling and shrinking that cause seams to open. Vinyl and vinyl-coated papers are smart for bathrooms and kitchens, where they can be wiped down.
Delicate printed papers, metallics and natural fibers can still be used in the right rooms, especially interior spaces that stay air-conditioned. We will tell you where we think each type will perform well before you place an order.
Light, views and color
Rooms in North Miami tend to get bright, intense daylight, and condo units on higher floors may have floor-to-ceiling glass on one side. That light flattens pale colors and makes saturated ones glow. Before you commit, tape a generous sample to the wall and look at it at several times of day, including under your evening lamps.
If a room has a view of water or treetops, a quieter paper often works better, letting the window stay the star. In an interior hallway or a windowless powder room, there is no competition, so a rich, dark or high-contrast pattern can carry the space on its own.
Glossy and metallic finishes bounce strong sunlight and can reveal any unevenness in the wall underneath. Matte papers are more forgiving on older plaster that has a slight wave to it.
How we install
Every project begins with a measurement visit or detailed photos and dimensions. We calculate roll counts from your chosen paper's repeat and width, then plan where the pattern starts in each room.
On installation day, we protect floors and furniture, remove cover plates and examine the walls. Repairs are made, glossy paint is dulled, and a wallpaper primer is applied. Strips are hung from plumb lines, matched carefully at each seam and trimmed at ceilings and baseboards. The final mismatch, unavoidable when a pattern wraps a room, is placed in the least visible corner.
When we finish, cover plates go back on, the floor is cleaned and leftover rolls are labeled for future repairs.
Scheduling around the seasons
From May to October, heavy afternoon rains and high humidity are routine. We ask that the AC run steadily and windows stay shut during installation so the paste cures evenly. The drier stretch from November into April is a comfortable time to schedule larger, multi-room projects.
Hurricane season, from June 1 to November 30, occasionally forces schedule changes. If your building restricts access ahead of a storm or power is at risk, we move the date.
We also install wallpaper in Opa-locka, Miami Gardens, Miami, Miami Springs and Miami Lakes.
